Ruark Audio


The objective

From their home on the UK’s East Coast, Ruark Audio produce exemplary DAB radios and sound systems that have a wonderful depth and quality of sound, performing way beyond their compact size. British design is at the heart of their success, with an aesthetic that is elegant, completely timeless and which is loved by customers the world over. Their raft of industry awards and accreditations are testament to their vision of delivering products that look and sound great. The objective was to develop and elevate the brand by developing a refined visual language and tone of voice. 


The response

We started by shaping a verbal identity which reflects Ruark’s warmth and approachability across all platforms, from product descriptions to advertising. Two core elements of the brand needed to be conveyed so we developed a new strapline of ‘British Design, Superior Sound’ which works alongside an existing statement of ‘Made For Music’. Beautiful imagery, elegant typography and a predominance of white space helps shape a visual style that resonates with their consumers and stronger aligns with stockists such as John Lewis, Selfridges and Harrods.
